·      South African Navy Marines and Diving Unit, specializing in and teaching underwater explosive clearance

·      Founded first Multiplace Hyperbaric Medical centre in South Africa at Saint Augustine’s Hospital in Durban

·      Opened sister Monoplace facility at Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg

·      Was Safety Director at the Bermuda Hospitals Board and the island’s Multiplace facility achieved its first international safety accreditation 

·      Bermuda’s King Edward Memorial Hospital Hyperbaric Centre was chosen as a Divers Alert Network (DAN) Preferred Provider Facility, due to his stewardship

·      Was nominated as DAN International’s Top Instructor Trainer

·      Was Technical and Safety Director at the Judy Dan Research & Treatment Centre

·      Worked part time at the Rouge Valley Hyperbaric Centre 

·      Has served two terms as Secretary of the Canadian Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Association (CUHMA) 

·      Participated in putting together CUHMA’s Guidelines to the Practise of Hyperbaric Medicine in Canada, assisted with several Hyperbaric Clinic Risk Assessments and has been part of the planning committees for CUHMA conferences

·      Currently serves as HBO Chamber Operations Training Director for the Southern African Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Association (SAUHMA)

·      Has served as a director on 16 boards, 7 of them hospital or health related

·      Certificate in Fundamentals of Hyperbaric Medicine, Simon Fraser University

. Is familiar with HBOT from patient’s perspective, having received treatment to heal burns resulting from prostate cancer radiation.

·      Practised commercial law for 16 years, 8 with a firm (now Borden Ladner Gervais) and 8 as a sole practitioner. Former member of the Barreau du Québec, The Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association

·      Co-founded an investment management firm, Vestcap Investment Management, Toronto

·      Wrote award-winning illustrated history of investment firm Nesbitt Thomson (now BMO Nesbitt Burns)

·      Composer, recording artist and film score writer and member of the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN)

·     Guest speaker at the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) international conference in Toronto. Screened his music video, Anthem for the Unsung Hero, that included hyperbaric oxygen therapy

·      His music has been aired on over 300 radio stations in the US and has been performed in Toronto at Massey Hall, Nathan Phillips Square and the Canadian National Exhibition. Wrote soundtracks for short films Change for Chimps, featuring Jane Goodall, and Legacy of War, featuring veterans and original war footage. Copies of Change for Chimps were offered as gifts to those who donated to the Milpark Hyperbaric facility 

·      His music also has the endorsement of the Canadian Institute of Stress for its restorative qualities and contributes to the tranquil atmosphere of the hyperbaric facility.
